BACKGROUND DESINGS FOR “A WINTER’S JOURNEY”

“A Winter’s Journey” (Winterreise) is an animated feature film for which I am working as a lead digital painter and animator. It is based on Franz Schubert’s song cycle “Winterreise” and inspired by paintings by Caspar David Friedrich. As the film is still in production, I am unable to share details or images at this time. However, I will update this section with additional information following its premiere.

Cast: Marcin Czarnik, Gabriella Moran, Martina Gedeck, John Malkovich, Jason Isaacs, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson.
